I get tired of people telling me there is no “happily ever after”… those people are lost. When you are kid you believe in such fantastic things, why should we let go of that? I believe in magic, I don’t care if someone says that’s naive or silly. There’s magic, I’ve seen it. I’ve seen people who believe with their whole heart that there is something big out there for them and I have seen them find it. Happily ever after isn’t about finding prince charming or living in a castle. It is a culmination of the little things that make your smile beam and your eyes twinkle and recognizing that those things are happiness. Happiness is what life is all about… they are what adds up to that happy ending. One thing people forget, is that there is a journey to get there… it doesn’t just happen… you can’t just introduce the character and then have happily ever after… That story would be terrible, it wouldn’t be worth it… if there was no trial, no quest, no fight… what is that? The ending would be meaningless. True happiness comes from overcoming the worst to get the best… That is happily ever after.
“Heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen. A quest may not simply be abandoned; unicorns may go unrescued for a long time, but not forever; a happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story.”
